students_giving_bloodThe University of Arkansas community has once again set a new regional and state record. The Student Alumni Board was able to collect 1717 units of blood during the 2009 University of Arkansas Homecoming blood drive.

“This is the third consecutive year that University of Arkansas Family has managed to break the record for units of blood donated during the Homecoming blood drive. This student run tradition is a testament to the level of community involvement and commitment that our students share in making the world a better place.” ~ Mike Macechko
